Reading the controls

Hue is the color family around the wheel. Saturation moves from gray to vivid color. Luminosity is HSL lightness: 0% is black, 50% gives the purest color, and 100% is white. RGB sets the amount of red, green, and blue light directly.

Hex is the same RGB color written in a compact form, useful for CSS and design apps. Values here use standard sRGB color.
